The Neoangels Registered Charity Number is: 1163797
Neoangels is one of our three sensational charity partners for 2018. You can find out more about this excellent charity and their work below.
Neoangels is a charity that heavily supports the neonatal unit and its families at The University Hospital of North Tees. Parents and staff nurses established the charity in 2015. The charity primarily fill a gap which is not funded by the NHS. They offer support for the financial disadvantage families find themselves in whilst they have a premature or sick baby/babies on the ward.
How Neoangels is funded
Neoangels rely solely on donations from fundraisers, the public and our organised events as well as some local business support. Because of this, a team of trustees and volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds to support their work. The top priority for the team at Neoangels is neonatal care for families of premature or sick babies at The University Hospital of North Tees.
How funds from NELD will be spent
The donation raised through North East Ladies Day fundraising will go towards a breast feeding package including:
- 4 specialist reclining chairs
- Breast feeding shawls
- Electronic breast pumps.
Breastfeeding is key for our premature and sick babies because it is easy to digest and helps to fight infection. This package would provide comfort and relaxation for both mums and babies.
